13 Best Places to Live in Minnesota

Niche User: For 21 years, I have been blessed to live in my neighborhood. This is due to several factors. The first reason is due to environmental consciousness. According to "patch of earth.com", my neighborhood was ranked #1 in most environmentally aware neighborhood in the nation. From an early age I learned the environmental benefits of composting. The neighborhood council voted "yes" on providing composting bins that would be recycled/handled by the Minneapolis Waste Management.

Another perk of living in this neighborhood was the parks. In 1889 there was a meeting between Charles Loring and Horace Cleveland, (two businessmen who had an impeccable love for nature), that helped structure the park scene in Minneapolis. They demanded that every house be 6 blocks away from a park. With that being said, I have been able to be reap the benefits from them by participating in sports activities from 8u baseball to varsity tennis.

If I had the option to choose to live here again, I would absolutely jump at that opportunity. The atmosphere is diverse, eco-friendly, and clean. Everyone here is extremely friendly, and that reputation tends be something that is very hard to find in a lot of communities. I am confident that my neighborhood will continue to prosper in the areas of diversity, eco-friendliness, and good maintenance.
