Current Resident: I really like the atmosphere of the area. The dirt roads, while sometimes hazardous during winter, are very scenic and add to the daily commute. Current Resident: If you are looking for a city with a lovely environment and even lovelier people, then Plymouth is the perfect place for you! The atmosphere that Plymouth brings make you feel at home, ranging from the caring and friendly neighbors to the sounds of birds chirping in the morning. Along with that, everything is within close proximity of the neighborhoods. Things such as grocery stores and parks are very close by, making commutes quicker than other cities. Current Resident: I have lived in Orchard Lake for 7 years and I love it! The people are always so nice when walking the dog to driving the car. The city is small, but full of beautiful homes! Niche User: Living in Midland has been amazing. I went to elementary through high school in Midland and the school system there is unbeatable, the level of learning is very high and it prepared me for college. Also living in Midland you have so much to do, our biggest tourist attraction is the fridge which is on the Tittabawase river. The bridge connects the skate park and playground with downtown midland which is full of local businesses including my brothers clothing shop. Current Resident: Personally, I love the city of West Bloomfield. Having moved hear from Novi a few years back, I was skeptical of it. However, upon arrival I had realized that I really liked the city. The operative word I would use to describe West Bloomfield is 'safe'. I feel very safe here; almost anywhere I go in the city I feel right at home. As a student at West Bloomfield High School I can say that it is great. The teachers are very helpful and dedicated! Current Resident: My family, from my grandparents to my generation, has lived in Canton. My favorite part of Canton was my subdivision growing up, which was Sunflower Drive, in my eyes, the best community I have ever lived in. From the pool party at the end of the year to the snowmen we made in the winter, the friends I made have lasted me decades and the memories for years to come. I will always appreciate and come back to my Canton community, for as long as I am able. Although the love I have for Canton remains the same, the change could come in the form of diversity. In elementary school, I could count the number of African-American students on my two hands, including my sister and me. In middle school, there was only one black teacher, which I was never assigned to. Going through life without recognizing support around you can make you feel alone, and often misunderstood. Current Resident: First off, St. Joseph, Michigan, houses the nicest community I've ever encountered with. Everyone here is so loving and caring. Furthermore, St. Joseph High School is an excellent school, providing great education and extra curricular activities for the students. The teachers really care about the students and put them first before themselves. Moving away from school, downtown St. Joe is where it's at. Whether you want to go eat at the Broad Cafe, stroll by Silver Beach, or even buy a souvenir at a gift shop, there is always something for each person. Current Resident: Pleasant Ridge is a wealthy community with beautiful antique homes. The community is kind and welcoming. There are many parks and recreational spaces within the neighborhood. The city in split in half by Woodward which has led to an interesting wealth disparity. Pleasant Ridge has an extremely small population which is the reason for lack of school district. Current Resident: Frankenmuth has a special place in my heart. Whether it be the the "World Famous Chicken Dinner" or the world renown Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, there is always something lighting up this small town. Growing up in Frankenmuth was special, whether it was being able to volunteer in festivals as a citizen or seeing someone you know almost every time you step outside. Frankenmuth has taught me, most importantly, loyalty and gratitude. There is no questioning safety here as well, being ranked one of the safest cities, it most definitely feels that way. This town is flooded with activities for any age group. I recommend everyone to visit Frankenmuth at least once in their life time. Some go as far as to look for homes here. Current Resident: Midland is a wonderful city to grow up in. I love and appreciate the interconnected community within Midland, and I feel that there are so many welcoming and helpful hands around town. This especially was seen through the 2020 flood, as every neighbor was quick to jump on any volunteer opportunity there was. Additionally, I am so grateful for the safety Midland provides. Current Resident: The Plymouth Charter Township is home to thousands of people and even though it is a small town compared to Detroit and Lansing, it still has so much to offer. The public school system in Plymouth is very good and it is one of the top areas in Michigan. The town has plenty of restaurants and shops to go to making everything such a convenient drive from your home if you live in Plymouth. The crime rate in Plymouth is very low and the town is very safe compared to other places around Michigan. All in All Plymouth is the perfect little town with everything you need in it... Current Resident: Growing up in Saline, MI has been a great privilege for me. I was very blessed to have grown up in a beautiful town such as Saline. The public school system in Saline is one of the best in the whole country. As a father to a three year old child, I feel comfortable raising my daughter in such a nice town. However, night life in Saline is limited, if you are looking for entertainment, then you need to check out Ann Arbor more so instead of Saline. Most of the local entertainment like movie theaters, malls, and ethnic restaurants are offered in Ann Arbor.
