Current Resident: Jacksonville is such a cute and historic town! It's kinda like those towns you see in the movies when they have fun little events every weekend and everyone knows everyone! The people who own the stores live there and talk to everyone in town! You can't drive down the street without seeing someone you know. I go to Jacksonville Presbyterian every Wednesday night for Youth group and I everyone there I know from elementary school! It's beautiful during the holidays as well! Medford is a mid-sized town, and is very family-friendly. It irritates me that people judge towns by their skin color and regard themselves as non-judgmental. People here, regardless of their skin color, are by and large very hospitable and welcoming. We have neighbors that look out for one another, there are fantastic trails, great shops, good restaurants and awesome churches here. The town is, by and large, very clean. City and business owners keep their buildings in good repair. There are drugs, a small transient population and poverty in Grants Pass, but this can be said of almost any town in the West. We've lived in a lot of places (Montana, California and Oregon), and we regard Grants Pass to be our forever home.... Read 143 reviews

Current Resident: I have recently moved to Eagle Point, as far as I can tell people are friendly and involved in the community. There isn’t a day where you don’t see people outside and having fun. You also see so many people getting along and walking their dogs. The schools are also filled with spirit, laughter, and plenty of education. The housing is not that expensive and can fit most people needs. I can also be out at night and not have to worry, I feel very safe. There is also something here for everyone, including being family friendly for kids.
