Current Resident: Bexley is a welcoming, inclusive, progressive, and gradually diversifying city. Residents span the socio-economic spectrum, although it leans upper middle class. While about 80% white, it is diversifying ethnically. Bexley is a safe haven for multi-cultural and LGBTQ families, of which there are many. One-third of the population is Jewish. Bexley is heavily democratic - about 80% of the yard signs for the 2020 Presidential election were for Biden. The public schools are extremely well funded and very highly ranked. During the pandemic, all students with unreliable home wifi were given free wifi mobile hotspots; and free ipads are offered to students in need. The location is very convenient to downtown and the airport (10 minutes), adjacent to I-70, and close to Easton (under 15 minutes). Downtown (Main St) businesses are easily accessible by walking for more than half the residents. Most residents take good care of their properties - many of which are historic homes.... Current Resident: Worthington has the best of both worlds: there is the community spirit and friendliness of a small town, while being close enough to Columbus to have all the benefits of a much bigger city. The walkable downtown hosts many events and activities that draw the community together like the weekly farmer's market, a Christmas tree lighting, free concerts on the town green on Sunday nights in the summer, etc. When you walk down the street, neighbors are talking to each other and it is easy to run into someone you know. It is a very Normal Rockwell/Mayberry feel. Contrary to the Niche information, Worthington is one of the more liberal suburbs of Columbus (along with Grandview and Bexley). The schools offer many wonderful academic programs and have a very diverse student body. Because it is such a safe neighborhood, kids ride their bikes and play in the community parks like it is the 1950s. Easy access to the Olentangy Trail means that walking and biking are very popular.... Read 55 reviews

Current Resident: I grew up here and never left. The school is more than capable in allowing you to succeed as long as you put in the effort. The good schools wether you have kids or not is the main selling point as the homes increase in value regularly as a result. It seems ur paying more per sq ft bc you are BUT rest assured you will benefit when it comes time to trade in ur 1200 ft starter home several years later for something in the 2900 sq ft department. There’s the primary benefit of being in UA…don’t buy into that stereotypes well supplied by I think jealous surrounding communities. The number of pompous asses in UA is roughly the same as elsewhere;))... Read 64 reviews

Current Resident: Love Clintonville, so lucky to live here! You can walk anywhere and anytime safely. It’s so charming, all the houses are different with a lot of character. While not cheap at all, actually it’s getting very expensive to live here you get a lot for your money. The best neighbors by far and I have live in the east coast and west coast. You get parks, restaurants, Coffee shops, all kind of shops.. to be honest you don’t need to leave Clintonville at all… you even get the best medicinal care in the state with all the hospitals around. You can bike or walk walk to OSU or downtown. Love it!... Read 29 reviews

Niche User: The general atmosphere is great because there is a lot to do and see. The Short North area has a community event once every month called Gallery Hop where shops, art shows, street vendors, and musical performers are all operating together. The sport related activities are also great as there are many restaurants open that cater to fans. Sports are one of the most important atmosphere building factors because nearly everyone is a Ohio State Football fan and can get excited for a common cause. The music scene is also great as there are many venues that offer performance opportunities to local artists in a positive environment. There are also people from all parts of the world that live here and it is a great experience being exposed to diversity. Current Resident: New Albany is a small suburb of Columbus, Ohio with many people that have rich, wealthy and successful lives. Spanning from houses from $300k to more than a million, New Albany has many people of different lifestyles all working together to make a great and welcoming community. They are several restaurants surrounding the downtown of the town that are nice to go out on a date or to sit down with family late at night. The people are very welcoming and friendly with multiple community events hosted every year, such as a 5k run to help cancer, 4th of July and Memorial day parades. It is surrounded by a well-educated public school ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade, all bounded together on a single block of 4 public school buildings to keep all the students together. Finally, there is a police station that helps keeps the community safe with very low crime rates in the town.... Read 60 reviews

Current Resident: We moved to Hilliard when our children were in middle school and high school. We decided to move because there are so many more opportunities within the community and within the school district. The town has a quaint "Old Hilliard" section with many outdoor community events throughout the year. There are 2 community pools that are up to date and have slides/rides/lazy river. There are multiple bike and walking trails for nature enthusiasts. There is also a fairgrounds for events every summer including a food truck event! Neighborhoods are safe and police presence if apparent. Multiple fire stations throughout the community as well. There are many stores to choose from. Restaurants are never overly crowded and infrastructure makes it easy to access pretty much anything!... Read 194 reviews

Current Resident: I have lived in Minerva Park since I was five years old. This neighborhood has helped to establish the life I have today, and the people in this neighborhood are very nice. For example, my next-door neighbors are very close friends of my family, and I've made friends with some of the kids who live here. The nature in Minerva Park is also wonderful, and I love walking by the lake when I go on walks. However, I do wish that the garbage trucks wouldn't run over the curb sometimes and that some of the natural beauty from the old golf course was preserved, but overall, life in Minerva Park has been great....
