Current Resident: I love the beauty of Appleton. It is a small town, filled with hiking trails, an excellent shopping mall, the Performing Arts Center, and more! Appleton also offers many events to bring the community together and educate its inhabitants on other cultures, art, music, and entrepreneurship. If there was one thing I could change about Appleton, it would be the quality of the roads. Many backroads and neighborhood streets have potholes and are extremely uneven. Current Resident: I enjoy living in Sherwood as it's a getaway from the Fox Cities, but it's still included. Mostly everyone living in Sherwood has only a 10 or 15 minute drive to High Cliff State Park and Lake Winnebago. We have local family owned ice cream shops, such as Froggs Ice Cream and the Chubby Seagull. It's safe and friendly, you can always expect a wave from a stranger taking a walk as you're driving. Current Resident: Winneconne is an extremely clean and calm town. I enjoy my neighborhood in Winneconne because we are all like family. Everyone cares for each other, and our neighborhood is a very safe environment. Many families in our neighborhood have pets, such as dogs, and my neighbors are always outside walking their dogs. Additionally, we have a lot of little kids in our neighborhood who enjoy biking around our neighborhood. Something I would like to change about our neighborhood would be the weeds on the side of the roads leading up to our neighborhood. In addition to getting rid of the weeds on the outside streets of our neighborhood, I would move the street lights closer to the entrances of our neighborhood. There are two entrances to our neighborhood, and it's very difficult to see where they are at night because the street lights are so far into our neighborhood. Overall, I love my neighborhood, and I am grateful to have such a wonderful community here in Winneconne.... Read 7 reviews

Current Resident: Big enough for stores you like but small enough traffic isn’t bad. Beautiful waterfront parks and lots of walking paths all over for biking walking. Cute downtown with fun shops and ice rink during the winter. Safe place and good schools. Not too far from fox river mall. Not too long of a drive to Milwaukee or Green Bay depending on what venue you are looking for. Overall have loved living her with lots of opportunities that’s are in many different career fields. All four seasons- fall is the best by the water- great tor fishing, or my water sports. Housing is very reasonable compared to many parts of the county. People are very friendly, kind and generous through out the town. Lots of love music and an outstanding public library that is right on the water front. I continue to find new cute parts of the town or new parks to go exploring with the dog. It's a small village surrounded by bigger cities so it gives off little town vibes but you never get bored with all the surrounding activities to do. Little Chute has a very close community. The police are very nice are caring and always looking to help. The schools are smaller so your kid will get more one on one with the teacher. Current Resident: Neenah is a small, yet thriving community in the heart of the Fox Valley. Having only lived in the area since June 2019 I've already fallen in love with this quaint little town. There are beautiful parks and trails throughout the area, many of which are on the water. The downtown area provides plenty of good restaurants and shops and there is a more commercial area nearby with staples such as Walmart, Festival, and Culver's. I personally have enjoyed discovering the R. Harder Gallery of Gems and Minerals located in the Jeweler's Mutual building. It's one the largest private gem collections and it's right here in Neenah! Additionally, there are two major Wisconsin cities (Appleton and Oshkosh) nearby, only a fifteen minute drive by highway.
