Current Resident: It's a very nice place to be. There's plenty of space to coexist with the nice people (too nice haha), and it is very quiet, if that's your thing. There's plenty of inventory, should you wish to buy a house in this rapidly-growing township. The scenery is stunning. The schools are some of the best in the Baltimore area and in Pennsylvania (both of which are saying a LOT), and the location is a fairly interesting factor. First, there's a weird isolation. You're only about 5 minutes from the grocery store, McDonald's, gas or Dunkin' Donuts, 15-ish from everything else. If you like history, or work at Utz, Hanover Foods or something else in Hanover, it's great. Anything else, you'd have to commute into Maryland, as many people do (only about 45 minutes-1 hour or so, great drive). In fact, many people are new from Maryland, as it isn't far and the taxes (except those you pay to the school district, which is a PA-specific concept) are considerably lower.
