Chino Valley Town in Arizona 53 reviews
Current Resident: I moved here from LA to get out of the rat race 10 months ago. I like the rural feel of the area, but don't like that we have only 1 grocery store Safeway that serves Chino Valley and Paulden- We need another small market. I commute 30 minutes to Prescott or Prescott Valley for any other major shopping or dining. I love the availability of hiking in the area, (Granite Dells). Camping areas are nearby also. In order to bike, we had to put tire sealant due to many goatheads (stickers) that will puncture the tires. The humidity level here is dry, usually around 10%, except during the monsoons of summer. I appreciate spring, winter and fall, but not the summer! Its very hot ranging from 90' to 100 degrees. I was not too happy about the wages for work.., I make 50% less here in Arizona as a nurse, but the housing, property tax and gasoline are cheaper- everything else is not. (like food). I like my neighbors in this community at Highlands Ranch, they're all very friendly. Read 53 Reviews
