Current Resident: Erie is a lively, growing town. It is great for families, with some great schools. One odd thing about it is that it still has a small town vibe, although it is quickly becoming one of the larger (population size) towns in the area. Current Resident: I absolutely love Windsor. It isn't too close or too far from doing anything that you want to do. You can drive thirty minutes any direction and get almost anything you need. If you can't get it in that 30 minutes, you just drive an hour down to Denver where there is literally everything! Windsor's community is super welcoming. Current Resident: I will be forever grateful to the community of Eaton. Most people, enjoy city life with highways taking you to the mall or amusement parks, but in Eaton, I get to drive down dirt roads, and laugh with my friends as the smell of freshly cut hay fills my nose. I will find myself missing my town that taught me the EATON acronym. "E" for excellence, showing me to always do my best. "A" for awareness, showing me that being aware of myself and others is most important when building relationships. "T" for tenacity, which taught me to never give up even though everything seems against me. "O" for ownership, making me take note of how I messed up and make sure I do better. Finally, “N” for noteworthiness, which showed me that I need to take pride in my work whether it’s an essay or a simple email. Eaton taught me to be the best version of myself. I do enjoy the peace and quiet as well as the friendly neighbors that i am surrounded with. Current Resident: When I first moved to Berthoud in 2015, it was a small town with a few store and food places. One of my favorite things is watching Berthouds and its business grow here. I currently work at Marley and Moose, a kids store that just opened up June of 2023. The building has many historical aspects, much like most of the building located in Berthoud. Berthouds historical aspects make the town interesting and unique Another thing I love about Berthoud is their decorations for each holiday. Throughout the year down Mountain Avenue, Berthoud decorates every lamp post, parks and business. Seeing the decorated trees and lamp posts around Christmas while snow is falling feels surreal. The town hosts so many events especially during the summer; movies in the park, community garden, fireworks, ScotchFeast, trick or treat street, and many other activities throughout the year. Current Resident: Mead is a small town that is slowly growing as more businesses and families move here. The downtown area is being updated and remodeled to attract more people. The first gas station is being built and its exciting. I enjoy the neighborhood because there are so many families with young children. My kids can go to the park and there will almost always be someone they can play with. The town of Mead celebrates holidays and its founding with parades, parties, get togethers, and firework shows at the Mead founder’s park. Mead is a close-knit safe town and has great schools too. Mead historical foundation is planning on interviewing people in the community who have lived here for generations since its founding and write their stories in the town history books. Current Resident: Platteville is a very welcoming town. It’s a very small town, but it’s right in the beginning of highway 66 and highway 85. The elementary and middle school in Platteville are very small, and very lovely to attend. The best places to stop and eat are Subway, Double Tree, and the Cracked Egg, all located in downtown Platteville. The neighborhoods are very friendly and neighborly. Rodgers Farm even offers a playground for the fellow children to play at in the neighborhood, including an outdoor basketball court. A very nice and clean town, very worthy of living in.... Current Resident: Kersey is one of the few small towns left in the North Range of Colorado. Everyone that has children in either the elementary, middle or high school will know all the parents of the children in their childs grade, and in most cases become close friends, if they were not friends prior to the kids meeting. Just prior to school starting, Kersey promotes a day in the park including cook outs, water fights, and an evening movie for the town to enjoy. Kersey has a Christmas Parade and a Labor Day Parade that the entire town takes part in. Over the past two years, Kersey has gained two Dollar Stores, located next door to each other, and a new retail store that has footwear and fruit, along with the first hotel in town. There are plans for the first drive through coffee to be opened by fall, and it is also a locally owned establishment...no chains here. However, Kersey does not have a grocery store or a hardware / feed store. Once those two stores arrive, Kersey will be perfect.... Read 4 reviews

Current Resident: I've lived in Nunn for about a year and a half with my partner and our kids. My partner and I both telecommute full time as technology workers, and Nunn's public, high-speed fiber internet option makes it possible to enjoy our quiet country lifestyle without sacrificing hours a day commuting to and from the city. In fact, the internet connection we have through Nunn Telephone is better than what we had when we lived in town! Nunn seems like a great place to raise our kids, too. Although we live a little outside of town limits, the playground "downtown" provides a clean, quiet, and well-maintained space to play when the kids feel like a change of scenery. My only complaints are that I wish we had a little drive-thru coffee shop or a grocery/general store. Current Resident: Pierce is a small town with lots of friendly people. I love that I live in close proximity to two parks, I can walk basically anywhere and there is a family bar/restaurant close by as well. In the past I have been unable to drive so being able to walk to a convenience store or post office has been really good for me.
