Current Resident: It is a small, home town where everyone knows everyone and people are willing to help each other. The schools are relatively small which allows administrators and teachers to get to know all of the students. There are plenty of nearby shopping centers and restaurants. Ontario is close enough to the city to go there, but far enough away to avoid the traffic and noise of a loud city. The town hosts a lot of family-friendly events and you are right on Lake Ontario. Current Resident: Living in the neighborhood of Walworth has been very pleasant throughout my whole life. There were always plenty of activities for me to do at a young age, as well as a multitude of volunteering opportunities. The neighbors I have are never noisy and the town seems to be quite safe. Throughout my time in Walworth, I have never heard of any serious crime or threats. I sometimes wish that there were more restaurants within the town, but that is a minor inconvenience that doesn't bother me too much. I have always admired the recreation program that is in place for the youth. I grew up attending many of their events and sports. Current Resident: Macedon, New York is a small rural town just outside of the city of Rochester, New York. Macedon connects with the town next to it, known as Palmyra, to create the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District which holds one primary, one elementary, one middle, and one high school. I grew up (and still currently reside) in a small neighborhood street in Macedon known as Kemp Drive. One thing I like about where I live is it's not too crowded and it holds the nearest Walmart for surrounding towns including ours. One thing I would like to see change is the cleanup of our local trailerparks and also the cleanup of our village. Current Resident: I personally like the Town of Palmyra because it is a small community with many oppurtunitys. There are many events that happen like The Wayne County Fair and Canal Town Days which all represent the history of Wayne County. The Palmyra Macedon High School also gives many oppurtinitys by takin IB and college classes. Many students take part of oppurtuitys to give back to the community like " Parent Night Out" " Yard Clean Up" and "Breakfast with Santa". Niche User: I live in a rural area of mid New York state. I live along the Lake Ontario shore and among a variety of Bays and Lakes. This area is very beautiful and our agriculture business is quite well. This area is mostly fruit farms and a few diary farms as well. It is nice growing up among people that know you and just about all of your family. We do have some crime but for the most part everyone looks out for their neighbors . If I was in need of help I would know that I could probably turn to a neighbor that could either help me or give me advice on where to look for it. Current Resident: Red Creek is a small town. There are a limited number of people so it is a very quiet location. People who move here typically stay a great number of years due to the education that their children receive in our small community public school. The houses within the community are typically affordable and well maintained. Many people do not worry about allowing their children to mingle as well as hangout within the community due to the nature of the individuals that live here. Bordered on the north by fruit country and orchards, while the Fingerlakes and their numerous vineyards lie to the south; the local produce is plentiful and of good quality. Most vegetables and annuals are grown in the muck grown between the long-ridged drumlins which run north to south.
