Current Resident: Growing up in Mandeville provided myself with a safe and friendly area to explore and learn. Mandeville is one of the safest and cleanest cities in Louisiana. Mandeville is home to one of the best public school districts in the state, which is why so many families call it home. Current Resident: The town of Madisonville is a packed town full of different locations and people. I have enjoyed many special nights at their many wonderful restaurants and enjoyed working on the calories at the local gyms. My only concern is the people. Madisonville has a diverse range of people; however, they have shown to be predominately white and old. These3 qualities are not inherently bad; though many people in Madisonville are Karens or rambunctious teens. Current Resident: Covington is a wonderful historical city! Current Resident: Lacombe is underrated. It's beautiful with winding country roads. It's got tons of friendly people, lots of beautiful scenery and it's only a bridge away from New Orleans. Current Resident: I moved to Slidell back in 1972. Slidell was a country town back then with pretty trees and scenery. Now it is the concrete city. I would like more nature back. Plant some trees. Make Slidell beautiful again! The crime rate is so horrible since hurricane Katrina. Its time to stop paying the politicians and start taking care of our police and first responders. Current Resident: Eden Isles has been our home for more than 4 years. We love our house and neighborhood. The HOA does a variety of activities for the kids/adults though out the year, even though we are not able to attend many of them, it is nice that they think of the community with what they do.... Current Resident: It is a small town that is self sufficient.Here we have a small museum, elderly center, police station.Our high school is rated highly of and has many sports opportunities for our youth. We have good schools here. The city keeps up their town by maintaining the streets and their garden sites colorful. We have few red lights in our town. The main road is a connection between cities so we have lots of traffic. Our many schools are on this highway providing easy access . The town is a little bit city and a little bit country. Personally I like having both on hand. Our family can enjoy marshmallow campfires while also having the convenience of a few convenience stores. All one needs can be found in this little town thats only a few miles around. We also have a local Vetinarian, a car lot, and doctor. Surrounding the town are nice natural parks and waterways. I am glad my kids were raised here. I am happy to grow old here.... Read 10 reviews
