Alum: This school was a life-saver for me. I came from Emery/Weiner, where I was racially bullied by students, teachers and admin, with no hope of recovery. I transferred to Xavier for my senior year of high school, and do not regret the decision for one moment. You will not find a kinder, more inclusive institution on the face of this planet. Not only does the school allow you to work at your own pace (with a degree of management and instruction), but the school actively encourages a lifelong relationship with learning and curiosity. The academics are incredible, as the teachers are devoted to the genuine growth of their students. The admin treat the students like family. Bullying is never an issue here; diversity and uniqueness are prized here, and no one is forced to conform. In terms of college acceptance, I applied to over 22 colleges, and got into every single one except for two. Trust me when I say that this school prepares you for whatever you seek in life. This school is home!... Read 47 reviews
