Ogden Current Resident: Ogden is not a bad place to live, but it certainly comes with it's own challenges. Many people in town do not have cars and there's no place to buy fresh fruits or vegetables in town and there aren't lots of businesses in town to work at. The town is between a military base and a university town, so many different people come through the town. I personally have never felt genuinely unsafe in my home here, but there is a stigma in neighboring towns that Ogden is a crime-ridden town. This is simply not true, it is a stereotype because many families that do not make as much money live in town since it is a more affordable place to live. Overall, the town is full of people who are just trying to get by, serving in the military, getting an education, or just living their life. The elementary school in town even received a Blue Ribbon school award when I was in sixth grade. This town is truly not a bad place to be, even if stereotyping says otherwise. Read 3 Reviews
