Middle School Student: I have been attending Carrollwood Day School for the majority of my life, and I can confidently say that there is no better environment than CDS. All of the teachers genuinely care about you and push you to succeed in and out of the classroom. Since CDS is an IB school, class sizes are small (no more than 18 students), enriching, and truly prepare you for college. CDS also offers a wide array of sports and has a strong arts program offered at every grade level, with music, theater, and visual art options for electives. Recently, CDS built a brand-new athletic complex and gymnasium accompanied by a weight room, and a new building is being built at the moment, expanding the Middle School/Upper School campus. The faculty and staff at CDS are incredibly welcoming and kind; once I forgot my lunch in the car and when a teacher noticed, they didn't hesitate to buy me a lunch from FLIK (our dining service).
