Current Resident: Very open, rural feel. Great views. Mild weather while most major storm bypass due to geographic location. Centrally located in CO with easy travel to many. Of the things that make Colorado so unique. Pueblo West is a very quiet family oriented community with character. None of the cookie-cutter houses that all look the same packed in. It has a truly unique feel with. Cultural variety and a mix of both young families and retirement age residents. A visit to the grocery store nearly always yields friendly conversation and a new acquaintance.
The area is great for the active lifestyle as well as those interested in equine activities.
All in all, one of the greatest places to live if you’ve outgrown the night life and are seeking to shift gears into the next phase in life.

Current Resident: The best part about living in Pueblo is the weather. Over 300 days of sunshine per year! There are limitless outdoor recreational activities including Lake Pueblo, the Arkansas River, and the hundreds of miles of trails and bike paths. The cost of living is still affordable compared to that of Colorado Springs and Denver, where prices are at record highs. There is a vast restaurant scene even though it is a smaller city. There is everything you need in Pueblo! Colorado living at an affordable cost!

Current Resident: Living in Rye, CO, is wonderful because it's so pretty all year long. I see wildlife every day and am only a few minutes away from numerous hiking trails and lakes. The community is friendly and welcoming. I wish that Rye had more small businesses as we are a tourist town.
