Current Resident: I moved here from Fort Smith, Arkansas, and this place was such a culture shock. I've been used to busy city life, but this town is very mellow and peaceful. There's obviously not as many places to go to here, but it's tolerable. People here are so so so much more friendly and kind to one another which makes me like this place more. I like how it's easy to navigate around the town without being able to get lost as well. This town has made me change my thoughts about smaller towns completely, I'd never leave this place.... Current Resident: Cody is a tiny town in Wyoming with not very many opportunities, but with an amazing wilderness. Growing up as a kid is great because it is as safe as a town can be, we go biking around town and can walk alone without fear. However, once you reach the end of your high school years it is hard to receive opportunities for internships or camps because generally, you will have to travel somewhere larger to do so. If you are into forms of social entertainment then the town is lacking. There are a few good restaurants and a little movie theatre that is great, but as far as a shopping mall or game centers for kids there are none. Most people travel 2 hours north to Billings, Montana if they are looking for entertainment. However, what Cody lacks in social entertainment it overachieves in wildlife and nature. You will never live anymore beautiful than here. The mountains are close by for a hike you may decide to take on a whim and deer in your backyard is not an unusual sight.... Read 23 reviews

Current Resident: Meeteetse Wyoming is an agricultural town about 2 hours from Yellowstone National Park. A town of just over 300 people, and surrounded by farms and ranches, it is an excellent place to raise a family! The school is topnotch, and the people are friendly! If you like a bustling city, a short drive to get groceries, or a wild night life, this town is not for you. It is a quiet, mountain town of independent minded people. The WEA Market is a little gas station with a few groceries, but if you need actual groceries, you have to drive approximately 45 minutes to Cody. For weekend excitement, you can drive up to Billings. However, Meeteetse has great parades, community celebrations, and people. We wouldn't want to live anywhere else!... Read 2 reviews
