Former Resident: Destin really does have some of the most BEAUTIFUL beaches in the NATION! I loved spending a lot of time at the beaches during the day and also catching ghost crabs at night. The town has a lot to do and a lot of tourist attractions. There are really cool outdoor shops also dolphin tours, and pirate bats you can go on. Destin also has a very stunning natural landscape with a large diversity of animals, and different types of trees. Current Resident: Crestview is the perfect example of small town, big heart. Our town has experienced such growth over the past few years, but that has not broke our family apart. I absolutely love how every neighbors help out other neighbors and no one is left behind. The amount of love and joy flowing through the streets is amazing. Crestview has many local businesses, opportunities, and a huge military base down the road. Having this military base, most of the town citizens are active duty or veterans. One thing I would like to see change is traffic. Being a small town, we only have one main road, and having a military base down the road, rush hour can be hectic. Crestview is home. After coming back from a vacation from a huge city, it feels so nice to come back to a little peace and quiet, and a lot of joy and love.
