Current Resident: My overall experience with Rocky Mount has been delightful. It is consistently improving it's roads and public areas. In fact, a new public high school was recently built. There are many places to eat and many more are being built as I speak, including a Popeye's and Panera Bread! Rocky Mount is a very nice town, but the only disadvantage is the Southern part of Rocky Mount. It is known for crime and the "hood".
