Current Resident: One thing I enjoy about Trinity is that is close to Decatur, AL without being in the city. It is a perfect suburbian area. One unfortunate thing is that there are hardly any restaurants or things to do. It is within a reasonable distance of the city but I would like to see more in the Trinity area.... Read 9 reviews

Current Resident: Priceville Alabama is a small town right outside of the commonly well-known Huntsville Alabama. The main thing I love about Priceville is the fact that there are no Priceville addresses, just for the simple fact that Priceville has no post office. We have a growing school and community, a little coffee shop in the middle of town, a Food Land, and of course a Dollar General. There are two parks, one is just where people go to play and have fun, which is where a lot of kids along with myself practically grew up. The other is a sports park, for all ages, sports, teams, etc... I love driving by and seeing the little boys playing football and the even smaller girls practicing cheer. In the middle of town, right in front of our football stadium, there is a farm with a beautiful tree in the middle that represents meaning for Priceville kids. I love the fact that even though we live in a small town one way is a large city and the other way is a farm town, so we are just in the middle.... Read 15 reviews

Current Resident: Best place to raise a young family or start your career. Similar in nature to Decatur, GA's relationship to ATL. Decatur has all of the desirable amenities, shopping, and dining with a slower pace of life and safer community compared to big city Huntsville next door. Little to no crime in Decatur. Any amenities that Decatur does not have, you can find in Huntsville which is only a 20-minute drive away. It's the perfect relationship! Accessibility to nature and the outdoors is amazing-I can leave my office and be on my boat within 10 minutes. Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge encompasses the Southern edge of the city and has many well-kept trails and great access to watch wildlife. Lots of free community events for kids and young professionals. AMAZING historic downtown area that is growing rapidly! We love living in Decatur and all of the new friends that we've met who aren't even natives to the city. A good mix of born-and-raised and newcomers. Decatur is very welcoming!... Read 153 reviews
