Niche User: It is a relatively small town, but is growing. Large enough that you won't ever know everyone, but small enough to run into people you know at Wal-Mart. The people are kind and considerate for the most part, sticking to old ideals of holding doors and smiling at you while passing on the sidewalk. Its safe to walk around even at night and never worry, and if you ever need anything your neighbors are almost always sure to lend a helping hand. There is a variety of types of people, country to city, poor to wealthy. I would grow up here again if given the chance. You are raised to dream big, but always remember to act with the kindness of a small town, no matter where life takes you. I truly believe it is the ideal town, safe but still fun. I believe this area will continue to grow due to peoples attraction towards its benefits. This could take away its small town atmosphere, but only time will tell.... Read 30 reviews

Nearby Resident: I'm retired, moved here because I have a small farm just outside of town. It takes a few visits in most of the stores to become recognized, and once that is done, you are greeted as you walk in... and that is nice. If you need something done, just ask anyone that has been there for a while, and they will share information regarding your situation. I personally love it here, but I'm not crazy about the snow and cold in the winter, but I can deal with it. Overall, I think it is a great place to call home.... Read 15 reviews
