Current Resident: Great place to raise a family. It is near Princeton Junction train station and bus stops for NYC and elsewhere. You can easily commute to NYC or Philadelphia. There is a small train (Dinky) that you can take from Princeton University to the PJ station. The university has buses for around town. You will enjoy suburban life in a college town. Princeton University has many events you can go to. McCarter Theatre is also in town. Princeton is not a big party school so students are respectful to residents and their property. Many tutor. You and your children will be able to walk/bike to town, which is especially appreciated by the teenagers. The public schools are top notch from elementary to high school. We live in Littlebrook and our kids walk, bike or scooter to elementary, middle or high school without crossing Nassau. Love their schools. There are many private day and boarding schools within a 10-15 mile radius. Great town. Everything is nearby. Go for it!... Read 84 reviews

Current Resident: Excellent school district. Very safe area with plenty of parks near by such as Mercer County. Access to all major highways are right here so the ease of commute is nice. Nightlife here stinks as there is only one restaurant/bar you can go to in town center. Another downfall is that there are way too many banks and pharmacies within a legit half mile radius in town center, pretty ridiculous. Other than that, I would highly recommend moving here!... Current Resident: I am a Black person living in Pennington for a little over one year. I did not expect it to be as welcoming as it has been. Upon arrival to this little town, I expected tons of stares, uncomfortable feelings, and worry for my children. To my surprise, though I do occasionally get stared at, it was exactly the opposite. People frequently say speak and say hello. I feel welcome and I'm no longer overly concerned about the safety and welfare of my children. I do wish Main Street was a little bit more built up with businesses but that speaks to today's economic climate while emerging from the pandemic.... Read 22 reviews

Current Resident: It's a lovely township with a mix of farmland and newer development. Homes are generally expensive but you can sometimes find a good deal. The schools have a good reputation but we have found that it works best for kids that are either really, really smart or really, really need help. Those who are in-between tend to get lost or overlooked. Lots of good recreation options in and around the township.... Read 32 reviews

Current Resident: Hopewell Borrow is a nice town. I can’t say it is great for the 20-30 unmarried no kids group. It is great for young families, teens, and empty nesters. There is a book club, many cycling groups, and live music at different restaurants. The restaurant are wonderful here as well. The town is pretty expensive over all. It looks like more young professionals are moving here but not enough to call it a shift in population or overall attitude.... Read 8 reviews

Current Resident: I've been in l'ville my whole life and love it. It's a great town to call home. Main Street and the Manors have essential services (hair salons, a post office, a pharmacy, etc.) and plenty of food options all within the small town (including a drive-thru Starbucks). Village Park is a great place to spend some time outside with a basketball, tennis racquet, or maybe just some running shoes to hop onto the LHT, a massive trail network divided into 16 segments spanning over 20 miles. Nearby is the popular Terhune Orchards, with "Pick Your Own" fields, a winery, a farm store, and several farm festivals hosted throughout the year that are a blast for the whole family. L'ville being nearly equidistant between Philly and NYC makes it easy to experience the thrills of both cities while living in suburbia. Also, the quaint, beautiful town of Princeton is just a 15 minute drive away. Hope to see you around!... Read 38 reviews

Parent: After retaining an educational consultant and searching the entire DMV for the right independent school, we chose Stone Ridge. We were impressed with the school's sprawling campus and Aquatic Center, but fell in love with the all-girl environment and the school's ubiquitous message of empowerment. Our lower and middle school daughters have already formed wonderful friendships and a love of learning! My middle schooler is constantly challenged in her rigorous curriculum, but as she puts it, "I never knew school was supposed to be fun." In summary: Best. Decision. Ever.... Read 130 reviews
