Current Resident: This area is safe. Residents living in Broad Ripple consist of young families and a lot of young and middle aged, single, profressional people. This area is dog friendly and has more dog owners / dog walkers I've ever seen in my life. I love that its close to everything. Overall, its a fun area to live in. The only thing I'd change about Broad Ripple is that the side streets / neighborhood streets need more lighting at night. My street has only 1 street light in a 2 block radius.... Read 21 reviews

There are many options for restaurants, groceries, shopping, etc. We are not parents but I have heard that the schools in the neighborhood are good also. I definitely recommend living here!... Current Resident: When I 1st moved in the apartment community there were so many improvements needed. Unfortunately, improvements don't always occur witbout a challenge & even resistance. I had to apply myself in seeking aid for our local community without being noticed due to to crime, drugs, and a scarce resources. I used several methods to change my environment because financially moving wasn't an option. I hated the fact that my 1st marriage, and 1st child had encountered this. It was devastating to say the least. However, my faith said you AREN'T defeated, trust your internal strength and things will positive change will occur in your environment. Many hidden friends have aided with methods toward our safety. Some may have encountered loved ones who passed away as they continued to Pray for me. Current Resident: I've lived on Talbott Street for over three years now and the Near Northside is beautiful. There are so many big gorgeous homes, many of which are about a hundred years old. Up and down Delaware, New Jersey, Alabama, Central Streets, the old is mixed with newer construction. Quaint parks and cultural landmarks like the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, the Morris-Butler House, and Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral dot the neighborhood. Taking walks in the evening offers warmly lit porches and cool green gardens. The community is vibrant and diverse.
