Current Resident: Leland Township is a beautiful town with kind people. The community is very small and it feels like nearly everyone knows each other. School here is something very unique from others, we grew up together and became "family" at a young age. Our graduating class is a small number of 40 students. It's incredible to see new people are welcomed into the community too. We have had a number of exchange students spend a year at the school, and are welcomed like they grew up with the class. Leland is a very safe, beautiful area, it's like living in a vacation. The scenery is some of the prettiest in the world, if I ever move far away, I plan on coming back to Leland Township soon because it is such an amazing place.... Read 4 reviews

Current Resident: Glen Arbor, Michigan is own of my favorite places in the United States. I have been spending my summers there every year since I was born. The small town becomes a tourist destination during the summer due to its beautiful outdoors. The town is situated on Lake Michigan and sits alongside the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. The lake offers boating, paddle boarding, and kayaking. If you enjoy hiking there are many trails in the area and hikes throughout the dunes. The area has spectacular views and amazing sunsets.... Current Resident: Lake Leelanau is one of the many beautiful places in northern michigan. There is nothing better than going out on the lake with your friends and family and listening to music and having an amazing time. The beaches are also incredible, jumping into lake michigan is so refreshing, the experience is something I wouldn't trade for a thing. The sunsets are like none other, and being able to see the sun set between north and south manitou island is breathtaking. being able to see that every night is something a lot of people dont get to experience. But, if there was something I would change it would be another restaurant or two. It is a very small town and the restaurants are good, but being able to have more choices would be nice. Overall I give Lake Leelanau 5 stars... Read 2 reviews
