Current Resident: I love it here! I became who I am today by moving here. I got my start in college, found my dream job, married my forever best friend, and we now share one son together who is absolutely thriving in life! I would not be where I am today had I not moved here. And although it is a small town, there is quite a lot to do here. It kind of stinks that it rains so much, but we have Saturday Market, which is downtown every Saturday morning, and super fun. They shut down the streets, and local vendors come and sell their products! There is everything from freshly cooked food to food straight from the farm; handmade jewelry and trinkets, and enough booths to browse and shop around at for hours! The night life is very fun, and there are several delicious restaurants to eat at. I have lived all over the United States, and Eugene is by far one of the most fun towns I have ever lived in!... Current Resident: Creswell is a friendly town, the kind of place where everyone knows everybody. There are a lot of community events like Christmas tree lighting in December, the area's largest July 4th parade, church in the park where all of the churches in the town have one all-inclusive service, and many other smaller events scatted throughout the year. The people in Creswell love to eat out and there are a variety of cuisines available at local restaurants. Creswellians love their coffee. Current Resident: I love the community-feel to Junction City. The people are sweet, kind, and very neighborly! I grew up in the area and enjoyed the mix of country and city life. I attended public school from kindergarten through high school and built lasting relationships with my peers, teachers, and coaches. The entire town was supportive of many school activities, including sporting events, theater, and charitable functions. Now, I am connected with a local church and gym and find community through these activities. The people in each of these locations are family-oriented and steadfast. We have lots of fun regularly serving our community. Just last week our gym sponsored a "town run" to raise money for a food pantry that serves Junction City residents called Local Aid. I am constantly impressed by those in my community. I am proud to call them my neighbors and grateful to know that I can always find someone willing to lend a helping hand when I, or others, are in need.... Read 23 reviews

Current Resident: I was born in Cottage Grove and at the age of 17 I could not wait to leave, so I joined the Navy. Cottage Grove is an amazing place that I moved back to five years ago. If you like the outdoors and the beauty of nature, Cottage Grove has it all...rivers, lakes, mountains, trees, animals, and it has been named the Covered Bridge Capital. From the center of "Old Town" (downtown), you can see the wonderful view and get to any of these places in no more than 20 minutes. It has grown quite a bit from when I was a youth, but it still has a small-town feel to it. There is also an amazing theatre that puts on plays and musical events throughout the year and a week-long downtown celebration during the summer called "Bohemia Mining Days" (named for the Bohemia Mountain Mines East of town) with carnival rides and amazing crafts and events. It is truly a wonderful place! If I could change anything about Cottage Grove, it would be to bring more things for the youth to do.... Read 35 reviews

There are a couple bars, and a lot of nice restaurants, but there's not much else to do unless you're a tourist passing through.
