Current Resident: There is so much to do in the outdoors that is so close. I love going on a hike in the afternoon or on the weekends to relax and relieve my stress. There are also opportunities to rock climb, ski, and other outdoor activities. Nearby, there is a running/biking/walking trail that can be used all year round. There are pickle ball courts for those who enjoy raquetsports. Throughout town, there are multiple parks for kids and families to enjoy. There are also many events and activities to go to within the community. In the summer, there is the Shakespeare festival, which brings many people to town. There are plays that go throughout the day and in the evening. It is also the location of Southern Utah University, so it is a college town. The University has an art museum that is open to the public. Cedar City is also a great location to visit for a weekend or week long vacation. Current Resident: Enoch Utah is a small community where just about everyone knows everyone. One of the things I like the most about Enoch is the people in this community, everyone is more than willing to help when someone is in need. The community is small, quiet and country! First thing in the morning you can hear all the Roosters singing and in the evenings the cows are mooing! Of all the places I have lived Enoch is by far one of my favorites. It is also very close to state parks like Zion National Park. There are a lot of outdoor activities to do, some of mine and my families favorites are Fishing, Camping, Hiking and just going out of a beautiful scenic drive. The landscape here is gorgeous and peaceful! There may not be a lot of things to do in this town itself but there is an endless amount of fun just right outside your front door.... Read 36 reviews

Former Resident: Parowan is an amazing little town of less than 3,000 people total in the whole town! My high school had about 300 kids starting from 7th-12th. Because it was so small there were good things about it and bad. Some good things were the chance to know everyone and being able to be involved in a lot of different activities with the school since they didn’t have a lot of students. It gave me a chance to come out of my comfort zone and participate and meet new people and friends. Some disadvantages is maybe feeling a little naive to the “real world” out there. Since it’s so small and the community is so close then you don’t get to experience life where you don’t know everyone and it can sometimes be hard to leave that safe little town and experience different and new things. Current Resident: Newcastle is a small farming town that I have lived in my whole entire life. It is a nice, peaceful, and quiet place to live. Everyone knows everyone. You can rely on many folks to come and assist if needed. All the residents who live in Newcastle are kind and trustworthy. Also the town is in between two cities such as Saint George, and Cedar City; which makes it easy to go shopping and buy all of the nessecary valuables needed.
