Morris Town in Illinois 35 reviews
#2 Best Places to Live in Grundy County
Current Resident: Morris is and will always be my home. Given that it's a small town, I feel as if it has a certain quality of togetherness and amiability that other towns around us do not possess. Because we are situated only an hour outside of Chicago, one of the largest cities in the U.S., the people in Morris come from many unique backgrounds and represent a good community with relatively accepting views. I remember as a child, I could always find hidden bike trails or back alleys where my friends and I would go explore until the sun would set. I had neighbors who cared for me as my own family did, and teachers and coaches that wanted the best education and experiences for me. Without the people I have grown up around, I would not be the person I am today. Although there are always aspects of a town that are unlikable or controversial, all that I can say is that Morris will always be my hometown whether I like it or not. Read 35 Reviews
