Current Resident: I've lived here in Paragould my whole life. What I like most about it is the size; it isn't too big or too small. We have two public school districts, two private schools, a two year community college, and a private four year coeducational Christian liberal arts college. There are plenty of options for grocery shopping as we have a Walmart Supercenter, Walmart Neighborhood Market, two Hays grocery stores, and more. We have one hospital; Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. We are home to one of Arkansas's most popular state parks; Crowley's Ridge. A great place to swim, fish, and enjoy nature. We also have a water park in our community center. Everything you need from places to shop, gyms, entertainment, child care, and more we have here in Paragould. If you're looking for even more options we are only twenty two miles away from Jonesboro, the fifth largest city in Arkansas and home of Arkansas State University.... Read 69 reviews

Niche User: In my life I have never stayed in just one spot. My mom has moved me around since I was eight months old. I started out in Arkansas, but when I was two we moved to South Carolina. Since then I've lived in Tennessee, Texas, Missouri, and Wisconsin. All before the fourth grade. When I was in the third grade I lived in Dyersburg, Tennessee and moved to Ripley, Tennessee after the school year was finished. When I was a junior in high school we moved to Paragould, Arkansas. At first I hated it because I was taken away from my friends and family, but now this town has grown on me. I have made some great friends in my journey. Current Resident: Marmaduke is a tiny town, but the people are very friendly and will talk to anyone. I love living in Marmaduke because you know everyone in town. If you need to borrow something, you can ask any of your neighbors, and they are likely to let you borrow it. Everyone helps each other and that is the key to a pleasant town. Current Resident: There honestly isn't one thing I would change about Lafe. The town is small you could pass it if you blink to fast. It is mostly built up and from the older generation. The people know each other and they would give the shirt off their back if they thought you needed it. They have a small farmer's corner where anyone can go get the things they need. It's like a pay it forward you take what you need and if you can replace it later. There are not many places like Lafe left in the world today.... Read 1 review
