Works Here: Hanover is a small college town, however, it’s very well appointed. You can find most everything you need in Hanover, except for strip, malls and big box shops. As a College town, of course, there’s just a huge amount of opportunities to do things. Cultural things, sports, athletics, things to grow your brain, music, and arts, all of it is here. Current Resident: It's alright but the food scene here is very bland. Really nice people live here though. I think Lebanon has it's special moments but if you are young it can be very boring at times. Current Resident: I have really enjoyed my time in Campton. I've been here for about 2 years. It's close enough to all the nature, restaurants, and attractions that bring in the Lincoln/Woodstock tourists...while being far enough away so that we don't have to deal with their traffic. If you like the outdoors, Campton is a great spot. Super convenient access to a wide variety of hiking trails, campsites, and outdoor activities. Easy access to the Pemi river is a big plus, and allows for a wide variety of summer activities. For food or entertainment, you'll pretty much always be driving 10 minutes either north to Woodstock/Lincoln or south to Plymouth...but that's not to say that there's absolutely nothing here. Chesley's is a great little spot, we have our own Dunkin Donuts, & liquor store, among others. Campton is not perfect, however. Avoid our USPS at all costs. I have never dealt with any business operation as incompetent as the Campton USPS. Look up the reviews if you must.... Read 5 reviews

Visitor: Littleton is a nice town in northern New Hampshire. It has a wonderful downtown. I would strongly reccomend visiting Chutter's, a great candy store and the world's longest candy counter. Chutter's is right in Downtown Littleton as well as a cute small movie theater and the Littleton Diner. Littleton is also very close to the White Mountains, and very close to Franconia Notch, which includes the Flume Gorge and the Basin. Current Resident: Love Ashland! What a great town and perfect place to raise a family! Not too crowded but close enough to amenities. Friendly town and neighbors. Little Squam town beach and squam river provide endless entertainment for kids in summer. Fall is beautiful and comfortable temps if you like a touch of chill in the air. I’m originally from CA and was worried about winter but there is so much to do in the winter that it may be my favorite season. Skiing, Ice fishing, ice skating and hiking without summer crowds. Current Resident: Lyme is a small picturesque New England town, with friendly people, who care about children. You can ski, sled and skate in the winter, fish and swim in the summer. Everyone seems very thoughtful and considerate. There is beautiful light on top of the trees sometimes, and stars at night can be really bright.... Read 3 reviews

Current Resident: Beautiful place to live, surrounded by mountains and national forests, as well as active, like-minded people. You are, however, moving very far away from suburban comforts and most likely your job. You get used to long commutes and drives to the airport, and you learn to plan ahead for shopping and life necessities. If you're an active outdoorsy person who loves to ski, hike, bike, play tennis, etc., the Valley is Nirvana... but you definitely pay a price in convenience. The local elementary school and high school are both very good, though the small size of the K to 8 primary school means it's not at all diverse.... Read 1 review

Current Resident: A remote small town with one blinking traffic light as you pass by on route 25. Many residents mind to themselves. The community keeps the town clean and everyone takes pride in maintaining their own plot of land. Nearby Resident: Amazing people everywhere throughout the town. I did not meet one rude person when I moved here from up North. The town is very well taken care of and has a beautiful park. Everyone is very welcoming at school and throughout the town. At the high school I felt welcomed immediately and had no trouble making friends right away. It's beautiful in autumn when the leaves begin to change. The town is very small , but about twenty minutes away is Hanover, home of Dartmouth College. All around an amazing community....
