#11 Best Places to Live in Gloucester County
Glassboro
Current Resident: Glassboro is not a huge town, but there are different areas, some better than others. Upper middle class, middle class, lower middle class and low income. The population is diverse in all regards. The neighborhoods filled with students are a problem for some of the non-college households. There are several areas for shopping - some new and bougie, some old and run-down. Lots of places to eat - fast food and nice restaurants and everything in-between. Breweries, farm produce stands, diners, town square. Festivals, community events. Suburbs meets farm meets dingy apartments... there's a place for everyone. Short drive to Philly and shore towns. Drive a few blocks away and you are out in the country / farms / rural, even a rodeo, in Cowtown. Rowan University offers a lot to the community, including live music events and a planetarium. There are other nice / quaint areas nearby - Mullica Hill, Pitman, Swedesboro, e.t.c. Glassboro has something for everyone.... Read 61 reviews
