Current Resident: Having lived in So Cal and various surrounding areas near Clovis, I can tell you that Clovis is full of pride in community standards. Since the founding of this town, their standards we're placed in quality city planning, safety, and schools. The town has a varied population in both race, income, and age. Within that diversity, their is still respect and kindness for every neighbor. I'm grateful to be raising my children in a diverse, clean, safe, and affordable community. On top of all of that, there is an adorable lively downtown with great restaurants and varied community events. Clovis' location is prime too! Only a one hour drive to a crisp cool mountain lake, Yosemite national park, or the giant sequoias. Then a mere two hours drive to the Pacific coast. Clovis and it's people are a gem!... Current Resident: My family has always been in Fowler (or in the surrounding cities). I personally enjoy Fowler with it's true small town feel. With the tight-knit community, and semi-small schools, Fowler can be charming. Fowler is ran by an array of local businesses. My favorite things about Fowler would be the local events. The home football games can really bring the community together (even if our football team isn't the best). The local farmer's market that happen on Wednesdays in October are always a pleasure to attend. Not to mention the Fowler Fall Festival in September. It is always fun to see the high school and middle school bands march along with all of the different floats. Current Resident: Fresno has lots of great small businesses, beautiful parks to visit, beautiful cerenary of historical buildings, lots of places to have family dinner. Let's not forget about the shopping centers! I would like to see a change in regards to the homeless people living in our community its not only looks like the town if not worthy of living in but also to help the ones in need, to work as a community and be seen as equals. I would like to see a change with drug usage and gang and for crimes to go down. I would like to feel safe in the community i'm living in. Overall it has great educational opportunities for the young and the adults and lots of job opportunities. Fresno is only growing and becoming better. I would recommend living in fresno for long term living or short term. Fresno is family friendly and its diversity ranges in all types. Current Resident: Love Selma! Great place with lots of diverse races. It's a hub of super big chains brand stores. Selma is also very connected to near by town with ease of access. Many of which come to Selma to shop and have fun because there is great food, hotels, stores, parks, and community. Recently Selma has gained new big chain store like Star Bucks, Chipotle, Boot Barn, and even a huge Toyota dealership. Great place and would recommend to everyone to come by and have fun here.... Current Resident: Orange Cove is an agricultural community and an affordable place to live. Schools in Orange Cove are part of the Kings Canyon Unified Scholl District.
