Current Resident: I love the mountains and really like Kaispell! That being said, it isn't what it used to just a few years ago. The community is great, with lots of opportunities and outdoor recreation! Since covid, however, home prices have skyrocketed. Biden has made food and services expensive for everyone! Better have a fuel efficient home and vehicle! Crime is on the rise and there is fire season! The worst part, IMO, is the extremely low levels in Flathead Lake! I've heard that it is influenced by WOTUS rules, but basically unfishable anymore!... Read 100 reviews

Former Resident: Evergreen is a county town connected to the city of Kalispell, MT. Evergreen is a large enough area in itself to satisfy recreation, shopping, services and housing needs, while not feeling too much "in the city." There are many neighborhoods that still have an older, charming feel. But also, neighborhoods with new and large houses springing up. Evergreen residents can still find a house with well-water for their garden and paved quiet streets for their children to ride bikes. Just "uptown" from "downtown" Evergreen, as locals say, is the shopping district with Costco, Cabela's, Hobby Lobby and more.... Read 16 reviews

Current Resident: Bigfork is located in the Flathead Valley in Montana. I love this area because it is both a great place to travel to and is a fun place to live. There are many delicious restaurants to enjoy, some with a view of Flathead Lake. You can walk down to the lake and enjoy a nice swim or a boat trip in the summer. If you like touring the water, there are plenty of canoes, jet skis, fishing boats, and ski boats available to rent or you can join a guided boat tour downtown. Afterwards, you can grab some ice cream and stop by the local library or check out the local market. Bigfork is twenty minutes away from Kalispell, a larger town with plenty of stores, an excellent movie theater, and a well-revered community college. Continue a half hour more and you'll find yourself in Whitefish where you’ll find many restaurants and a wonderful resort to enjoy. Current Resident: Killa is a very spread out and open area that is generally quiet and full of trees and wildlife, which I like. I also enjoy the fact that on clear nights, you can see almost every star in the sky, it is so dark and, from where my house is, seemingly devoid of other human life. I love Kila because when you wake up you can hear the birds and smell the trees from any open window in your house. There is also plenty of space for animals and gardening. Outside play is also super fun and available. For instance, my family and I often play sports together such as frisbee golf, volley ball, and baseball. If I were to change anything it would be the bumpiness of the road; however, that is almost completely unavailable because the road is gravel.... Read 1 review

Current Resident: After leaving in town for several years it was nice to get away into the peaceful country side. We still have neighbors but they are much further apart which is also a nice bonus. It is a very quiet place. I would say the only thing I do not appreciate sometimes is when our snow drifts, this makes it hard to travel.... Read 1 review
