It is an outdoors lifestyle community. Two world class ski resorts only a quick bus ride away. Acres of skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, fly fishing, backpacking, and many other mountain adventures. Current Resident: My mom and step dad and little sister, she is 8 years old moved to Gypsum Colorado in May of 2015. We built a habitat for humanity for 2 years and put in 500 hours of construction to build our home and helped with other homes in the neighborhood. We just adore our home and park. We live right next to the Eagle County regional airport and get to watch the planes take off frequently in the winter during ski season. We do not have very many shops or restaurants in Gypsum though. The population is about 7000. We could really use a coffee shop or a healthy grocery store.
