Niche User: Fremont is a nice little city, I like how it's so close to Omaha, you can literally drive their and arrive in 30 minutes or less, it's a good place to live in where you can be close enough to the bigger cities but not have to live in them. Fremont has a good amount of places to dine at and shop. Fremont is known as the "Antique Capital of Nebraska" because its downtown contains a lot of those shops and boutiques. I suggest going to the Fremont Lake State Recreation Area, it's a beautiful lake to relax, chill, and camp at if those types of things interest you. There's also a Skating Rink in town. There's a couple nice areas to golf at as well and go airboating down the river.... Read 76 reviews

Current Resident: Hooper is a very small town, but not so small that there is almost no community. In Hooper, most everyone knows each other and most of the people are so friendly.
