It was not very developed back then but overtime has quickly become extremely developed with so many job opportunities, neighborhoods and new schools. Powell is home to amazing schooling systems with many top state ranked schools. Current Resident: I moved to Galena five years ago and love it more and more. This is a place sounded far from metropolitan city, but actually close to everything. I can enjoy country life while at backyard, then only 15 minutes local/country road drive to Westerville, or Polaris, or Delaware City. Those are the places for city-life fun. I work at downtown Columbus. Again, sounds far away from my Galena home, but actually only took me 30-minutes drive for commute. Easily access to I-71 made life much easier and more convenient. I always feel safe with a fire station and police station nearby, and there is always something fun to do at the Orange Township pool, park, and bike trails.
