It is the safest town compared to other ones near by, all the schools offer great education and are rated amongst the top of the state of Texas and as someone who has attended school in this town, it certainly makes living in Coppell worth it. Current Resident: Richardson is a great place to live, and Arapaho exemplifies that wonderfully. There are many great local restaurants, coffee shops, and other businesses. The parks are nice for playing with children, walking dogs, having a picnic, or just relaxing. Arapaho has many families, but also people older and younger. Niche User: The general atmosphere of this area is friendly, safe, and busy. The community is close, the policemen and firemen are always available and easily accessible, there tons of small businesses coming and going. If I could choose to live here again I would. However, my only complaint is that the area's ethnic and political diversity is very small. A good portion of the are is white and conservative. I believe that an are should consist of an equal mix of conservatives and liberals. With the area being in Texas, the area's current ethnic and political statistics are not of any surprise. With that said, compared to everywhere else in the country, I personally feel that this area is definitely one of the best places for people who want to be involved in a tight knit community and want to live in a small town with a touch of the big city.... Current Resident: University Park is the perfect mix. It is affluent, but not as flashy and gaudy as Highland Park. It is very safe at all hours. It is super close to Uptown and extremely easy to access all parts of Dallas in under 20 minutes even in traffic. One of my favourite parts is that it actually has a “pulse”. I used to live in Bluffview where you don’t know if your neighbours are alive or dead. It felt scarily quiet, and I didn’t know anybody there. Current Resident: Extremely family friendly neighborhood. Drive down any street and you’ll see families in their yards, people walking, and kids playing. Nearby Resident: When I attended Moss Haven Elementary and Forest Meadow Jr. High from 2003-2011, the community around the schools gave me a feeling of refreshment in my life. This is a good area for parents to get their children a high quality education The people in this area are often generous and open-minded. The Town Creek Shopping Center on Abrams Road is one of my favorite places to shop and eat, thanks to their decent prices and great customer service. Current Resident: I was extremely fortunate to move to Lower Greenville, it is a walkable, green, and safe haven smack dab in the middle of Dallas! I am an avid runner and cyclist and I was thrilled to be so close to so many running and bike paths, White Rock Lake, and surrounding walkable neighborhoods. I am within walking distance of everything I need in a month: grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, restaurants, bars, movie theaters, schools, coffee shops, salons, tailors, the post office, and more. I moved to Dallas on my own without knowing anyone and it was the great fortune of living in Lower Greenville that helped me find some of my closest friends to this day! The neighborhood is full of a mix of young working professionals, young families, working adults, and retirees. Dogs, strollers, buses, and bikes are common to see each morning, and the neighborhood holds events for major holidays, Halloween, and St Patrick’s Day. I would recommend this area for anyone.... Current Resident: I live near Campbell with easy access to I-75 which provides easy transit to the rest of DFW. No HOA fees! Northrich is the best valued neighborhood in Richardson. So many great fast casual restaurants nearby. So many great places to walk nearby.
