Current Resident: The community of Lake City is a great place. I have lived here for almost all of my life and it is such an amazing place. The people around the neighborhood are such great neighbors. If there is ever a problem we always help each other out. Around the neighborhood there are parks for the kids to go play. There are also sign around the neighborhood when the community is hosting a community service such as donating to those in need or when they are going to put up the christmas tree up so everyone can go and celebrate.... Clayton County Court House, Jail, Firestations , and Police Stations all within 10-15 minutes from each other. Fast food restaurants, Walmart and Kroger all near residential areas. There’s a farmer’s market and a Sam’s club. The people in the area are very polite and helpful. Highly recommend moving to this area if you’ve already established a family. Current Resident: My experience with Jonesboro falls intomany lines. From my experience, Jonesboro has given me multiple opportunities to have an excellent k-12 education, along with the opportunity to partake in Dual Enrollment. With these opportunities, I am able to put myself in a better position towards my college experience. Jonesboro will ensure that the decisions made are meant to benefit the people to a degree, especially in children's education. One thing that I would like to see changed, however, would be some of the worn down buidlings in the area.
