Arkadelphia
Current Resident: Arkadelphia, Arkansas is a small town located between Little Rock and Texarkana in Clark county. It hosts a bevy of various activities and diverse cultures. One of my favorite activities is going to DeGray Lake. The scenery in this area is exquisite. I've watched the trees turn, the water whip into waves, swimmers tan, and much more. Some of my favorite sights include seeing baby eagles start to fly, grow and eventually become independent.
Another beloved hotspot for me is around old Main, in downtown Arkadelphia. The flavor or essence of our culture and heritage is captured within a wall mural entitled, "The Journey From a Dream to the Promise." It is a beautiful piece of work that shows various historical and local subjects and depicts the journey from the past to our present-day town.
I know that Arkadelphia isn't the largest or most populated town in our state much less our country, but it is a diverse, culturally accepting, and heritage-rich place to grow and live.... Read 70 reviews
