Current Resident: Very safe and beautiful area with great schools. Not much diversity though, and the drive to the high school can be a real pain. Current Resident: Wenatchee is the best city in Central Washington because of the low crime rate, great public education, diversity, and kindness from the locals. Wenatchee is an amazing, thriving, and special place for anyone who lives here. As a high school student, I have loved living here because everything is within a 15 minute drive which is great on gas and being out at night is safe compared to other cities like Seattle or Spokane. Leavenworth, Chelan, Cashmere, and Quincy are all within 45 minutes and are great places to visit during all times of the year. From the Christmas Lighting in Leavenworth to the awesome Lake in Chelan in the summers. Wenatchee is an amazing place to be in anytime of the year. The Loop Trail is great for running, jogging or biking which is good for the health of people of all ages. Wenatchee has it and is just an special and great place.... Read 73 reviews

Former Resident: I raised my kids in Lake Chelan and it was an amazing experience for the whole family. Since Chelan is a smaller town, it was easy to communicate with schools, local businesses, and local government. Chelan is located on a 55 mile long lake and surrounding mountains that offer lots of outdoor recreation. There are many organizations you can be a part of. Former Resident: I like about Entiat is that it's a very peaceful town and you can definitely visit your friend every day and you can go up to the mountains where you'll see a nice camp ground and as well as hiking which includes a nice waterfall. Furthermore, people really are nice to each other and their isn't lots of people arguing. However, the thing that I really like to change is to have more job opportunities in Entiat because their isn't lots of job in that small town.
