Current Resident: North East is a town nearby bodies of water, which is a great attraction point. We have multiple hiking areas and shopping strips that make a night out in the town enjoyable. The restaurants offer delicious seafood such as crab cakes and shrimps. The town features a large, newly built library and is home to Cecil College. With a close range commute to Cecil County Public Schools, food delicacies, and friendly neighborhoods, this makes North East a highly demanded town to live in. However, in turn this has made North East more expensive to live in. I absolutely love my water town of North East. Each sunset on the water is a breathing moment I wouldn't trade for the world. Nearby Resident: I am a student attending Perryville High School. The environment of the school is overall very positive and the teachers are always willing to help when they can. The town of Perryville and the surrounding area is very quiet and rural, not exactly exciting for teenagers such as myself. Current Resident: Close to a lot of major roads, but there is a variety of area demographic. For those who prefer small town suburban, nearby shops, close schools, and such, there is the Elkton proper area. For those like myself who enjoy more open space and a rural demographic, the outer town limits of Elkton have a lot of options. A plethora of small businesses and people who like to support them. I would like to see more clean up of the major roads, more community involvement with getting people back onto their feet or onto the straight path. Options for water/sewer services in the farther areas and better internet in the whole area in general. But it is a nice place where I'm happy to live.... Read 96 reviews
