Visitor: I’ve been vacationing here from Massachusetts my entire life. Ocean City is a great place for people to vacation or just take in everything there is to offer. There’s a state park right by the southern end of the island which is the quiet side of town and more beach oriented. However the northern part of the island is home to the famous boardwalk it gets very busy from May to September. Asbury Avenue is home to many local businesses in which this is a very famous downtown. Only thing is that housing is getting very expensive with new million dollar properties going up every year it seems. Also this is a dry town, so no booze is allowed. Most people go across the bridge to Somers Point to load up. Overall I personally think this is the best beach town on the Jersey Shore.... Read 56 reviews

Current Resident: What I like about Cape May Court House is that it is a small town, meaning everybody knows each other. There are an abundance of family businesses, but also enough chains to keep residents content. Everything is close to everything else, so driving through the town is very easy and everything is accessible. Cape May Court House is very close to the shore towns of Avalon, Stone Harbor, Wildwood, and Cape May, so this means that summers are lively and jobs are plentiful. If I could, I would change the nightlife of the town. There is not much to do at night, except for go to dinner. It would be beneficial if there was a club for teenagers or even more for adults to do. I would also change the diversity of the town, since the majority of the population is one race. Overall, Cape May Court House is a good place to raise a family, and I have enjoyed growing up here.... Read 22 reviews

Current Resident: I have lived in the Villas for over 20 years. Despite the bad wrap, it's a nice peaceful place. The Delaware Bay is very close and the Atlantic ocean is only 10-15 minutes away. The Villas is the kind of place where the birds are always chirping and the kids are always laughing. There isn't anything I would change about this place. At night, we sit outside and enjoy the peace and listen to the waves and stare at the stars in the open sky.
