Current Resident: In all honesty, cranberry Township is a great place to live for pretty penny. Although, there is not much variety of things to do for fun here, but it is close to Pittsburgh and other surrounding areas with a lot of fun things to do! I’ve enjoyed growing up here because I always feel safe and go to a very nice school, Seneca Valley school District.... Read 108 reviews

Parent: We have had an amazing experience at Burgundy! Our daughter loves school and we find it to be a great balance of both independence and structure to help her flourish. The teachers are wonderful and focus on the whole child with education that includes academic, emotional and social development. It is a strong community that is supportive of students and families. We love how the curriculum ties into areas of interest for the children and helps to build lifelong love of learning and appreciation for the world around them. They are able to enjoy a lot of time learning in nature on their beautiful campus. We can't imagine being anywhere else for the K-8 experience.... Read 11 reviews

Current Resident: Zelienople, a small town in the large state of Pennsylvania. I have been a resident in this town my whole life, and I have loved every second of it. So many town restaurants, shops, and even a small theatre on Main Street. I live in a small neighborhood right at the beginning of Zelienople, with a small group of people who have lived there for as long as I can remember. I remember as a kid walking to our local candy store during the summer with my best friend. The ladies who worked in there always were so cheerful and excited to talk to us about our day and how our summer has been going. We would even walk down all the way into town to the Seven-Eleven gas station to get slushies when it was a super hot summer day. Never even thought about anything being dangerous in such a small little town.... Read 18 reviews

Current Resident: I live in a very friendly neighborhood, lots of retirees but a fair share of young families as well. Being right next to the Butler Airport, Succop Conservancy and Butler Country Club has it's perks--lots of fun places to be outside in the summer. Knoch high school was small, but I loved my 4 years there & wouldn't trade it for the world! Current Resident: Moved to Evans City, PA 16033 and I love it. what a hidden gem, this little town is in Butler county. The community is very friendly and kind. The homes are affordable like you can afford one for a 1/4 of the price of the homes in surrounding cities and afford rental properties at the same time. The taxes are super low and the schools belong to the SV district an A+ district and the sutdents all go to the SV-HS. Plus you can own your own little business in downtown as the city encourages and facilitates business opportunities. Again what a little gem this town turned out to be. The restaurants in the area are delicious and the cheapest too and the customer service is great. I also like how the police is very friendly to the neighbors and people that pass by the town. I haven't seen this in any other town. People walk calmly at night with their kids to the ice cream shop, to eat and downtown (Main St). is nicely lit at night.... Read 8 reviews

Current Resident: Have you ever travelled somewhere or watched a movie where you could just feel how much people cared about each other? Well, that's Mars. Mars is a quant town but the energy is intimidating. Although its small, it allows for so many family friends and experiences daily. Almost all of the businesses in Mars are run by fellow neighbors, and if your lucky enough to get to drive through the town you might just happen to encounter the brick roads that remain! The most important thing about Mars, however, is not the location nor its history. Its the people. My community has taught me so many thing's and I'm so proud to call Mars my home.... Read 25 reviews

Niche User: People say that you never appreciate where you came from until you leave and come back. Having gone to college, and not being home that often, I have realized how many opportunities Butler has. The cultural growth in things like the symphony, art museums, Main Street concerts, and small shops make it seem quaint. Niche User: Overall, a very safe area. There are a lot of students so from time to time there are issues. At one point, people were breaking shop windows in town which was upsetting. I don't even know what the cops did about it. They have stopped since though. There was also a shooting at college apartments recently, but they were caught I believe.
