Current Resident: Doylestown Township is a great place to live! It’s a small town with many restaurants and shops to choose from. The school district is excellent and handled the COVID pandemic in a phenomenal way, making sure the kids continued their education as best as they could. The area is definitely a little expensive to live in, but worth it. Everyone in the town is very friendly, and willing to help you with anything if you are trying to fine a shop or the best restaurant to eat at. It has a large number of communal experiences such as parks but I believe that it could use more "experiences". There has been recent developments in sidewalks and bike paths in order to connect the community. There are many historical monuments in Chalfont. One example is Fonthill Castle. (except the highway) Although lately more houses have been built here is more crowded. Throughout most of my life, there was only light traffic due to the highway. There's a nice little diner to eat at, a local shopping center, and it's not too far from some local entertainment if you know where to look. It's not much, but it's all anyone would really need. Former Resident: We have lived in many great places and raised our kids in some fabulous places. But Doylestown is the one place that we all have the fondest memories. Living in the Borough is such a unique experience. We loved all of the cultural and entertainment opportunities. Our neighbors were fantastic and the walkability of living just blocks from anything you could want to go was incredible. Like many places, Doylestown is becoming more crowded, but I hope that it will retain its Mayberry like feel. It is also an easy trip to either NYC or Philly for the day or work. It is a culturally rich and diverse place for most people to come and settle down with their families. There are large parks near by and a vast amount of activities to take part in. The local businesses are very welcoming and helpful. Most people in Woodbourne have an active lifestyle and most places like grocery stores are close by. Woodbourne is close to multiple highways and freeways which gives it great connectivity to other locations around it. The only thing I would like to see change in Woodbourne would be the rising cost of living, although it is better compared to other areas, but other than that it is a beautiful suburb.... Current Resident: Langhorne Manor's community is very intimate and people take pride in the history behind our town. Each house has their own special architectural features that give it its own charm. Some of the houses even date back to the Revolutionary War. The Manor hosts several events throughout the year. My personal favorite is when the community takes walks in the snow. Cairn University, which is also apart of the Manor, has events of their own. It is a peaceful neighborhood with lots of wildlife. Deer, groundhogs, foxes, possums, skunks, and turtles are some examples of the wildlife found here. This is a clean and green area which has different people moving and settling down here. The access to services, grocery stores, pharmacies along with other things is great. Langhorne Pennsylvania is also a safe area where families can settle down here. Langhorne's location is also good because it is not that far from major cities, located to the north and south from here, like New York and Philadelphia. Langhorne is a suburban area so it is very lively here without the hustle and bustle of a big city. The one thing I would like to see change here would be the lack of sidewalks and crosswalks which makes life easier for people who just want to get to a nearby place without always having to use their car....
