Former Resident: I made the most of my life growing up in Hardin, which bordered the Crow Indian Reservation. My whole life I was around more real-life situation than your average teenager would believe happen. The reservation I lived on was beautiful, and don't get me wrong, it was my home, but it was sad. Poverty struck, and at times depressing. I spent most of my teen years planning on how I was going to get as far away as possible, but not from the people. Being the minority where I grew up, I couldn't have asked for better people to surround me, I was always treated well and always loved by others and their family. Although it was sad there was always a feeling of togetherness and family. It is home.

Former Resident: Crow Agency is a little town with very few business's but a small hometown feel. It is right in the middle of the Crow Reservation and is considered to be the heart of Crow Country. Crow Agency has a colorful history and is adjacent to the location known at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. At one time the hills were covered with wild Native Americans battling Custer and his Soldiers. The Crow Scouts worked with the U.S. Calvary and gave Custer sound advice which he did not heed. However, it all went down in history and is now celebrated every year. The Crow Native Days is derived from the Battle of the Little Big Horn. A three day event that includes, The Ultimate Warrior Race, the Re-enactment of the Battle of the Little Big Horn, and a Pow-wow adds excitement and attracts many cultural entities from around the globe. Crow Agency has a small town feel with big city events.
