Between their Fourth of July festival, winter festival, and more, everyone can attend and have a blast year round. There are parks scattered everywhere and summer events at many. The recent edition of the light rail was a great installation because it means a more green commute to the city for work, baseball games, art festivals and more!... Read 476 reviews

Current Resident: Northglenn is a perfect place for family! This is a great place to settle down if you want to be close to the adventures in the Rocky Mountains. You aren't too far from the amusements and thrills of downtown, but you aren't drowned with commutes. The roads in this area are very well kept, especially with the weather damage here in Colorado. There are occasional car races and commotions, but the police are active in keeping the neighborhood safe. Tons of local businesses make this area thrive with the culture of its inhabitants; from Italian restaurants, to Asian buffets, to taquerias, to boba shops, to Indian cuisine, diversity and variety is a thing we pride ourselves in. Parks are beautiful and cared for and the schools are alright. The community is always very kind and welcoming, I myself am excited to see this city grow!... Read 105 reviews

Niche User: Iv'e lived in Welby for about 5 years. When me and my family moved in we thought it was nice. All these years and the neighborhood is so nice, loving, and charming. Welby is full of nice people. It's also a nice and safe neighborhood. I enjoy living in this area. I feel safe. The people are nice and unproblematic. I would recomend people to come live in Welby because its such a nice neighborhood to live in. Although, something i would change is that where i live is a street that a lot of cars pass by. Sometimes the cars pass by too fast. But overall, Welby is such a nice, loving , and safe neighborhood.... Read 21 reviews

Current Resident: We moved to Brighton (Crossings) from the City of Katy TX in 2007, which was another farming community. It was pretty quite, so you could hear the coyotes howl at night, which was pretty neat. There wasn't a lot of light pollution, so you could see the stars at night, like Katy. When we moved here, there wasn't much built up around the neighborhood. The neighborhood has built up over the years, as Brighton has too. Our neighbors have come and gone, but have become more "neighborly" over the years. The schools seem to be a mixed bag depending on which school your kids attend. The 27J schools were behind when we enrolled our daughter in their elementary program, and she suffered because of that. Take a look at the charter schools first when choosing for your children if possible. The commute in and out of Brighton will take time as it and surrounding areas have grown. Housing isn't cheap. Good luck!... Read 164 reviews

Current Resident: I moved into Sherrelwood about 4 years ago, and am very happy with our decision. It is a perfect commute to both Boulder and Denver, with parts of Denver only being about 10 minutes away. Buying a home here is extremely affordable, given the proximity to Denver, and gives you a good amount of house and land compared to downtown. Within our time here we have seen a ton of homes getting rebuilt, adding additions, and beautiful updates. Overall, it has been a great place to buy, with lots of potential! There are stunning views of downtown Denver and the entire front range throughout the neighborhood. There are plenty of parks to go to nearby with the kids, and the Clear Creek Trail is a great place for bike ride or run. People overall seem to be very friendly. There isn't much crime east of Pecos and we feel very safe here. The only things I wish would improve are more restaurants or coffee shops within walking distance.... Read 51 reviews

Current Resident: Commerce City is an old Colorado city that is quickly improving. They have many job opportunities in small local businesses and in regular jobs. Many elementary, middle, and high schools are in the area, but most are not well-funded. The city itself doesn't feel very safe since there are so many incidents that could be dangerous, for example, cars doing races on local streets. Something that has never been missing is the diversity, there are a ton of different people to meet and see in this city. While it's not the safest place or the best for education, it is constantly improving. School districts try to improve schools while police try to make them safer. Overall, it's great for those who like small towns with close-knit communities.... Read 191 reviews

Alum: Graduate of 2004. CRMS was a great fit. It had strong academics (Plato and Shakespeare, Didion and Marquez), a great balance of work and sport, and promoted students' passionate ideals. I became a teacher, and have worked in schools from Vermont to California. Lots of schools make claims about prioritizing 'community' and 'values' - but very few walk the walk the way that CRMS does. I gained an appreciation of the arts, of the outdoors, and of an honest day's work. I took classes like Russian Lit (Tolstoy, Solzhenitsyn) and Eastern Philosophy (DT Suzuki, Thich Nhat Hanh); Ceramics and Photography; Geology and Environmental Science. From glass and metalwork to backpacking trips and canoeing, there's no other school like CRMS. It's not for everyone - no school is - but it is an incredible place for young people to grow and develop into the conscientious, capable, and creative adults our world needs.... Read 30 reviews

Parent: As the parent of two children in the lower school, I am extremely pleased with SSSAS. The Early Saints teachers make each day engaging for my 3-year-old. The monthly units the ES learn have prompted my son to apply what he’s learned to the world around him (the food unit they completed prompts a nightly discussion about which foods on his plate are muscle foods, brain foods, etc.). His teachers started a recent parent conference with 3 very specific adjectives to describe my son and given the examples they gave me, it is clear that really understand him as a whole child. My experiences with JK and K were also nothing short of fantastic; even during the pandemic the teachers were able to connect with my son. The K and 1st grade teachers have also provided my son a solid educational foundation; they have identified his strengths and given additional challenging work so that he hasn’t been bored. Any issues I’ve had have been quickly and appropriately addressed by his teachers.... Read 133 reviews
