Current Resident: HH since 2015 where Hutchinson Homes were very well built in 60s. Big yards, mostly good neighbors, multi-use trails wind through the 'hood and just south of the Cherry Creek Trail. Most homes actually in Denver County though some homes are in Arapahoe County. Lower crime than in my old central Denver neighborhood. Many great schools in the area from K-12 and also undergraduate and grad schools nearby. Light rail is under 1 mile from my home. Still in Denver but lots are bigger so you can get a house with a good 2-car garage where in more-central Park Hill neighborhood people have to park on street and move their cars on street-sweeping days. A few original residents. Bible Park is a Denver City Park that has a brand new huge playground for the younger school aged "yard ape" kids, tennis courts for all, but no live music like some city parks such as City Park which has a free summer live jazz concert -- and oldsters complain if you suggest live music at Bible Park.... Current Resident: The Timnath area is lovely. My neighborhood includes miles of walking trails, playgrounds, pools, and views of the Rocky Mountains. The local schools are outstanding at all levels and the area is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the other amenities of Fort Collins, CO. Current Resident: Castle Pines needs more shops and local restaurants. Rents are very high which keeps businesses away. Many retail establishments that have been closed have never been replaced. There is a large Safeway grocery store that closed 5 plus years ago. It is still empty, which looks bad. There is only one area with retail and restaurants for a very large community. Current Resident: I love Gleneagle. We have wonderful neighbors, but it's big enough where we feel like we can go and meet new people all the time. I do feel safe in this neighborhood, like I can walk my dogs and not feel like I have to carry something to protect myself. Niche User: We live in a mountain community. The people here are laid back and kind and there isn't a place in my town that I don't feel safe. Compared to living in a city, our community is much more relaxed and safe. Current Resident: Burlington, CO is a small rural town that has lots of great amenities. From Old Town to the yearly county fair, this place has many out door activities to partake in. People are able to enjoy fun with friends and family without having to worry about city rushes and crowded atmospheres. There is a local hospital right off the interstate in this town as well. It offers all the outpatient care one needs, as well as select services from specialty doctors who provide services for Kit Carson County Health Service District. Current Resident: I will be forever grateful to the community of Eaton. Most people, enjoy city life with highways taking you to the mall or amusement parks, but in Eaton, I get to drive down dirt roads, and laugh with my friends as the smell of freshly cut hay fills my nose. I will find myself missing my town that taught me the EATON acronym. "E" for excellence, showing me to always do my best. "A" for awareness, showing me that being aware of myself and others is most important when building relationships. "T" for tenacity, which taught me to never give up even though everything seems against me. "O" for ownership, making me take note of how I messed up and make sure I do better. Finally, “N” for noteworthiness, which showed me that I need to take pride in my work whether it’s an essay or a simple email. Eaton taught me to be the best version of myself. They make sure to be divers and have different festivals for different groups of people. Every year there is a crane festival, potato festival, a parade of lights. One odd thing about it is that it still has a small town vibe, although it is quickly becoming one of the larger (population size) towns in the area.
