Current Resident: Glendale is a small, family-friendly community that is a part of Webster and (majority) Kirkwood schools. Many of the small older homes are getting knocked down to build huge $700k+ four bedroom, three bath homes on these small lots. The community is great, especially if you have kids, but everyone who lives on my street looks the same as me, yet the schools try to push diversity by bussing in kids from the city, while in the long run Kirkwood really should be pushing and helping black and brown families move to the area.... Parent: I love everything about Templeton Academy! They are very supportive of my son's challenges and provide it when needed. The teachers are team players with the parents as well. The project based curriculum is awesome! It gives the students the chance to learn to work as a team and also use critical thinking skills. The class schedule is unique as well where the student will take 2 courses per semester for 10 weeks and still get all their required credits. Even though school is virtual right now, my son has met some friends. Oh and the class sizes are nice and small. Another thing I love about Templeton is how they praise the accomplishments of their students. My son is featured on their social media pages for winning 2 scholarships for being a philanthropist. I highly recommended Templeton Academy for a middle and high school choice. You won't be disappointed!... Read 28 reviews

Current Resident: I have lived here for 12 years. People are active and walking, riding, spending time outside. Prior to the pandemic we would have block parties and area food trucks would be in the neighborhood almost monthly. Many have returned multiple times. Current Resident: We have been in Dardeene Prairie for 2 years now. We came West about 15 minutes. What drew us to Dardeene is the smaller town feel. The walking trails, well kept homes, and overall sense of community are what appealed to us. The location to the high way was ideal, but did not feel like we were on top of the high way. The location to work, school, and church were all ideal. Our neighbors were all very welcoming. We are pleased with our decision to move here.... Read 39 reviews

Current Resident: Ladue is a beautiful place to live. It seems like a forest in the middle of St. Louis. I often have deer and owls lounging in my backyard— even though I’m 5 minutes from Clayton and 15 minutes from downtown. Ladue High School is (in my biased opinion) the best public school in St. Louis. The area is safe, quiet at night, and surrounded by many things to do (such as Forest Park, downtown Saint Louis, midtown, WASHU campus, downtown Clayton, and much more) I moved to Ladue from another suburb in Saint Louis, and I could not be more happy with where I live!... Current Resident: The town is great for finding restaurants and family-friendly activities, however, homes are expensive and life tends to be more rural. Education is quite good and the town is safe and clean. The biggest issue is finding something to do as nightlife is nonexistent. There are very few restaurants that stay open late or activities that can be done after 10 pm. Personally, I find it a good place to settle down with a family. Current Resident: I really like how the city has a lot of community opportunities for classes ranging from fine arts to STEM to tax filing education. The resources around the town are abundant for the city residents and the city is well maintained by the public works. The public school system is also very good in terms of providing quality education to the youth given the times that we are in. However, the teachers providing the education could be better supported in their job. They should not have to pay out of pocket for their classrooms given the affluence of the city and yet, they still do. The local government is still run by those who remember the town when it had one stoplight and are outstaying their welcome in their position. Overall, I have had a decent experience growing up here.... Read 145 reviews

Parent: Both our children started in preschool and we’ve fallen in love with the school. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Our children have thrived not only in their education but also in their relationship with Christ. They are excited to go to school and everyday come home talking or singing about what they learned about God. The community of parents are so welcoming, fun and involved in helping support the school. We have loved every teacher we have had so far and they are all so patient, sweet and encouraging of the children. The head of school is great with the kids, always open to listening to parents and wanting the best from the school. I am thankful for the small class sizes and personal attention our children receive. Their education is the perfect combination of traditional (learning cursive, math facts, presentation skills, etc.) combine with modern technology all based on biblical learning. We’re so happy with our choice and it has exceeded our expectations!... Read 12 reviews
