Current Resident: Georgetown is a very peaceful, quiet, reserved place to live. My home is settled in the banks of Lake Eufala. The only thing I would change is the fact that there aren't many businesses & isn't much to do in town. Current Resident: Beautiful, quiet coastal community. Close to the beach and downtown Savannah. Wonderful waterfront neighborhoods with fantastic schools. Access to coastal waters for excellent inshore sport fishing. Mostly residential with a business district complete with everything you need. Great restaurants, banks and plenty of shopping locations. Current Resident: I live in a quaint community and have lived here my entire life. What I like most about Garden City, Georgia is that it is close to everything like Pooler and Savannah. Our neighborhood is established and you do not see a lot of neighbors moving in/out and rarely see houses for sale. We live very close to the private school I have attended since the age of 3 and that has been extremely helpful. Another important factor in staying in Garden City is that my Dad is literally across the street from his job, he works at the Georgia Ports Authority, which is very convenient. Even though my community is not the fanciest around we have always felt safe here and that is very important. We love our neighbors and my parents will probably never move.... Read 25 reviews

Current Resident: Dutch Island is a family friendly neighborhood nestled amongst the winding rivers and creekbesds of the Lowcountry. Wildlife such as eagles, red fox, deer, osprey, and otters live in a peaceful accord with their human neighbors. Social activities center around the community dock, pool, and commuity area. Each year, neighbors gather for an annual Fourth of July parade and celebration at the pool, local band parties at the community area, Christmas light contest, Easter egg hunt complete with a visit from the Easter bunny, annual crabbing tournament, and Christmas open house with local vendors. Current Resident: Montgomery, Georgia is a small county in where everyone knows everyone. There are acts of kindness every where. Any where you go, there are loads of people willing to give the shirt off their back to help the people they see in need. Although this is an amazing county, there are some things I would like to see change. I would like to start a group that would volunteer to help keep it clean. I'd love to see Montgomery, Georgia as a clean lively little county. I would also like for someone to invest in forming an animal shelter for the stray cats and dogs around the area.... Niche User: To grow up and live 5 minutes from a beach for 18 years is the greatest experience. To have a back river or waterway accessible to me for fishing, boating, or swimming has given me the best childhood possible. The weather is perfect, although very hot during the summer, and frigid during the winter, Talahi Island is an extremely quiet and friendly place to start a family. In the last 5 years this island has grown, with the building of a new high school and the opening of a new middle school.
