Parent: We love Terra Marin so much! We transferred our son there from the Lycee Francais and could not be happier with the decision. Our son went from dreading school to asking to go to school earlier in the morning than drop off time. He also longs to go back to school after holiday breaks. He’s also learning so much. He’s in advanced mandarin, is learning to sing (they put on musicals and all grades participate … even Kindergarteners!), and is getting hands-on learning in science and ecology with the 2 outdoor days each week. He’s 5 years old and talks about habitats, about “burrowing owls” and about how “centipedes are omnivores.” We have been at 3 different schools in the Bay Area and this is by far the best one. When we were looking at schools, we also noticed that Terra Marin has something no other school in the area has: students and teachers who are visibly laughing and joyful both before and after school. The result is that our son is now associating learning with joy!... Read 28 reviews
