Parent: My town of Sanford lies in the middle of North Carolina. I love this location because I can drive 3 hours southeast and be at the beach or I can drive 4 hours west and be at the tallest peak east of the Mississippi (Mt. Mitchell). I'm glad my parents moved to this area because the community is family-oriented and everyone looks out for each other. The crime rate is low and you can trust people. The high school is challenging and I'm looking forward to going to college. I feel this area is only going to get better because jobs are plentiful. We have major corporations that have plants here. Moen, Pfizer, and Coty are a few of the companies here in Sanford. Although, I'll be attending somewhere in NC, I'll be coming back to Sanford, NC... Read 16 reviews
