Current Resident: This neighborhood is on the edge of Downtown Tampa. It has a mix of Single Family Homes, Apartments, Townhomes, and Multi-Families. It's called Spanish Town Creek /Hyde Park after both the original developer of the area and Spanish Town Creek Waterway. Due to development over the years, the waterway has been covered up and it a now a subterranean creek. It was one of the first developed areas in Tampa. Near Univerity of Tampa, Bayshore, and Downtown. We have lived here several years and it is very safe with access to all A schools from elementary to High School and 15-minute walk to downtown. Spanishtown Creek, an area near where occupied by Spanish speaking fishermen during the era of Spanish control of La Florida before Fort Brooke was established. Spanishtown is believed to have been established in the mid to late-18th century. Levi Collar, the first known Anglo settler arrived in the area ca. 1820. Current Resident: I've grown up in this neighborhood and will be here until I attend college. This area is a welcoming place to grow up in; schools are nearby, the streets are lined with trees, and everyone knows everyone here. My parents would throw block parties and have hundreds of people attend for a good time, I'd make friends with the neighborhood kids and never be bored during the summer. Overall it's just a kind place to have kids or retire into. There's currently an empty lot that can't be built on due to all of the neighborhood's plumbing lines running under it. Good use of this lot could be a public playground for the neighborhood, but the city planners keep the lot empty. I'd love for this to change.... Read 5 reviews

Current Resident: Very nice safe community, considering that it is right below the temple terrace area. Most of your neighborhoods are going to be gated, which can be a plus. There are a few solid restaurants in the area. The Tampa Palms are conveniently located near a I-75. Also, near shopping centers like Wiregrass, the Outlets, and the Grove. Tampa Palms is also prettier than most neighborhoods. But, the way that there is only one main road, Bruce B Downs BLVD. Makes it extremely annoying to navigate because of the traffic; and the neighborhood kinda lacks originality because of that street. But, if you can get over that you'll love this area! Lastly the schools... Florida isn't known for their public education system, so don't expect a whole. More residents here than most neighborhoods send their children to private schools. But, the public schools here aren't as bad as some of the schools in the Tampa Bay area. I would just take the public school performance into consideration.... Read 29 reviews

Current Resident: I love living in Hunter's Green! It's a wonderful place to raise a family. I have lived here for over 18 years and have enjoyed every minute of it! The residents are friendly and always willing to lend a hand or come together to socialize. The strong sense of community is what has kept us here for so long. The HOA and Master Board work hard to keep this community functioning and looking its best. The grounds are beautiful and so well maintained. The area is surrounded by a preserve, so it is abundant with natural life. The parks, club, and many community events provide such a fun and full lifestyle for all ages. Current Resident: Cory lake is a very fun and safe place. Some things that I love about Cory Lake are the clubhouse, the pool, the gym, and the neighborhood itself. It is a beautiful neighborhood with great nature. It is a big neighborhood and going for walks around it is very relaxing. The people who live here are usually very nice and friendly. It is a sort of pricey place to live, but it is worth it. The only real issue I have with it is the strictness of the Hone Owner's Association.
