Neighborhood in Denver, CO
Current Resident: North Park Hill is a great place to raise a family, with lots of good options for school, good diversity, and a lot of pride of ownership in the homes. It feels safe to walk at night, and people in the area are very friendly. You are just a fifteen minute drive from downtown (or a short bus journey) but the area still has a less dense, neighbourhood feel, with plenty of street parking and within walking distance to parks and coffee shops.... Current Resident: GREAT area of the city if you want a larger lot. Neighborhood has great proximity to everything including an easier commute to Boulder. Most homes if not refreshed already have investment opportunities to really add value to the property. Bigger lots than Wash Park and great Access. Also - the East Area Development Plan will invest $Billions along the Colfax corridor from Colorado to Anschutz Medical Center. So much upside.... Read 12 reviews

Current Resident: The location and architectural charm of this neighborhood is superb! I've lived in Cap Hill for over a year now and was able to get rid of my car as soon as I moved here. A twenty minute walk or less gets you to downtown Denver, multiple grocery stores, Cheesman Park, City Park, or multiple other local businesses. The infrastructure is great. I have easy access to multiple bus routes to take me anywhere in the city. I feel so fortunate to live here. I would love to see more diversity, but that's about it.... Read 28 reviews

Former Resident: Having lived in Washington Park for most of my life, this is an excellent neighborhood. The park itself is a great place to walk, run, bike, and play frisbee in the grassy areas. The small Gaylord Street boutique and restaurant area is a fun place to spend a Friday evening or Sunday brunch. Pearl Street, in W.P. West, offers classier restaurants and shopping. A fire department and police station are within the neighborhood. The closest high school is South.... Read 6 reviews

Current Resident: The best of all worlds. Close to the city. Cool houses that people are fixing up constantly. Decent-sized yards (for a major city, certainly). One of the highest rated elementary/middle schools in Colorado. Current Resident: Cherry creek is a great community and business hub outside of downtown Denver. I just recently moved into Cherry Creek. The restaurants and shops are very high end but incredibly expensive. There is a clear lack of diversity and nearly the whole neighborhood consists of white people. There is a large central mall which is great and everything is in walking distance. Cherry creek is definitely a cute part of town. The schools that are connected to Cherry Creek provide great opportunities and educations for their students.... Read 7 reviews

Current Resident: Walkable, bikable neighborhood with great people. Great local restaurants and bars without crossing a single major road. A supermarket (Safeway) you can walk or bike to without crossing a single major road. Denver University itself is a gorgeous campus. A good bit more affordable than Platt Park, yet a 5-10 minute bike ride (according to Google Maps) to Old Pearl Street. Less than a 10 minute drive from the huge shopping district in Sheridan. Five miles from downtown. Convenient to I-25 (University Blvd. or Downing St.), Santa Fe (85) and Hampen Ave (285). Good public schools. Family-friendly, young-couple-friendly, and student-friendly all at once... somehow very quiet, yet still in the middle of lots to do just a short walk or bike ride away. Just a wonderful place to live.... Read 17 reviews

Current Resident: Absolutely love City Park West. It is one of the oldest and most historic neighborhoods in Denver, retaining all of the charm, mature foliage, and beautiful architecture - while also mixing the convenience of location, hip and trendy restaurants, and arguably the "best" centrally located location in the city. The community is super close, friendly, and welcoming. I love the care that all of the homes put into their homes and gardens. I also feel so safe in this neighborhood, which was a bit surprising being so close to Colfax.... Read 5 reviews

Current Resident: My favorite part about living in this neighborhood is it's convenience. I am located in walking distance from three grocery stores, multiple pharmacies and bodegas, and there are many restaurants to choose from, although I no longer patronize any due to Covid-19. Current Resident: Stapleton is a newer community in Denver. It does not have the character of the inner city neighborhoods yet, although every year as the trees get bigger and the restaurants and shops multiply, it feels more and more like a true city neighborhood. It is just a short drive to City Park, the science and nature museum, RHINO and Colfax. We have so many parks and trails, pools and an amazing recreation center. Lots of grocery shopping options, with more being built. It is a master planned community with incredible diversity of architecture. The schools are some of the best in Denver. Friendly neighbors and tons going on like farmer market and summer concerts and plays in our two outdoor grassy amphitheaters. A great place to raise a family or just live close in to Denver with a ton of amenities and a nice newer home. Fantastic, incredible neighborhood and I think it will only grow more and more desirable as it ages and becomes established and the trees and landscape develop.... Read 44 reviews

Current Resident: Platt Park is an active and close-knit community surrounded by small businesses, great conveniences, and parks. Platt Park provides something for everyone from bars and boutiques to restaurants and coffee shops where you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee and your favorite book. Houses of new and old surround the small business haven, making everything just a quick walk away. Walk less than a mile east and you will find yourself at Denver's Washington Park, the perfect place to enjoy life with a run, multiple sports, the quiet pond to sit around or paddle boat, and enough nature to make it a short-term escape. For the time you need a little nightlife the Tavern, Pub on Pearl, and the Lincoln Roadhouse all have you covered but if you're looking to head into the heart of the city make your way just 2 blocks over to the Lousiana- Pearl Station and hop on the 15 minute light rail ride to put you within walking distance of Market Street.... Parent: We love Graland! My two children started at Graland in preschool and are now heading into preK and 2nd grade. First of all, the teachers are wonderful; they truly know their students and find the best way to meet their needs. The small class sizes allow for teachers to connect with each student, while building a strong classroom community. We also chose Graland because of the many opportunities they will have throughout their time there with trips, service learning, and art opportunities. Graland looks at the whole child: character, social emotional, athletics, arts, and academics. My daughters also love to visit the Gates Invention Lab to problem-solve, design, and persevere. We are so grateful to be a part of the Graland Community!... Read 38 reviews
